THE WOOTEN COMPANY, L.L.C.
The Wooten Company, L.L.C. was formed as a sole proprietorship in 1978 by C. Tal Wooten, Jr. and has remained in business continually since that time. Since Mr. Wooten's death in 2003, the Company ownership transitioned to members of the Wooten-O'Reilly families. Karen "K.C." Cowan has been employed by the Company since 1995 and the Managing Broker and Director of the Company since 1998. The purpose of the Company is real estate investments and property management.
We have a strong upper management team consisting of two senior property managers, a commercial property manager, accounting director and a maintenance supervisor. These individuals represent over100 years in combined property management experience.
The Company currently fee manages 4157 units of multi-family housing, consisting primarily of conventional and student housing in the Springfield, Nixa, Ozark and Rogersville areas. We also manage four Section 42 tax credit properties. The properties range from Class A to Class C with rental ranges from $299 to $1,200 per month.
Our property management software is Yardi Voyager which includes the Section 42 LIHTC and Commercial modules.
Our commercial portfolio consists of over 300,000sf of retail strip centers with the largest at 79,000sf and the smallest at just under 6,000sf. We also manage three mini-storage facilities and a large multi-story office building.
